Get, ready all you Fashionistas’ for the avant-garde, prestigious event of the year!. Going strong on it’s 9th year and where established Canadian and International designers, are determined to grab a spot and show-case their, “ Spring and Summer Collection 2010”.Up and Coming designers - pull out all their strings- to get their name exposed, to the general public and be featured in the Vancouver Province, news paper.- major boost to their career and ego. Models competing to, capture the spot-light and re-present designers’ line and to walk down the, cat-walk; in this internationally known Gala: “ The Vancouver Fashion Week ( Nov 3rd - 8th 2009).

This year, the opening Gala of The Vancouver Fashion Week, will be held at the distinguished, high status, Terminal City Club ( established in 1892), located in the heart of Vancouver’s Financial District. Inside the Venue the guest can expect: music blasting, people seated in rows, models walking down the runway- wanting to be discovered by a prestigious modeling agency, to be the next super-model “Gisel Bundchen”. Editors from Fashion Magazines’ jotting down notes, celebrities seated in the front rows, and camera lights flashing. Its an, “ADRENALINE RUSH!”. Knowing that your in the same Venue with “Elite Crowd” and breathing the same air as them; makes you feel important, too.

Ooo- the life of a Fashionista Socialite Junkie, The Vancouver Fashion Week for them is like: a child being in Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. Fun, different and full of hype. Nevertheless wanting to grace the pages, of the Socialite Series of newspapers and magazines.

Finally!. Reaching the best part of Fashion Week, the after-parties; after a stressful, high pack day of running, organizing, making sure models are on time, and the Media doing coverage of the fashion shows. You, can un-wine, mingle with friends and drink cosmopolitan at the Opening Gala after party at Ginger62, located on Granville Street.

But, wait. Don’t forget about the Closing Gala of Vancouver Fashion Week and launch of Viditti Magazine. Being held at Gossip Night Club on ( Nov 8th, 2009), last season it was con-joined with the, “Junor Awards”. Over 1000 attended, among the guest, were: Dr. David Suzki, the cast of Twilight, Alanis Morissette, and Major Robertson. This year, the m-cee will be Kid Carson and their will be battle of the band and photography competition.

Through ( Nov 3rd - 8th 2009) Vancouver B.C, will be a la mode, welcoming Fashion Industry Professionals to show-case their talent. And reminding people internationally that, Vancouver is not behind on Talent and in Fashion.
