" Hey guy's what's up?", I'm Fernando from Colombia, yes ( C.O.L.O.M.B.I.A) a wonderful tropical country, in South America with 44 millions of people ( aprox), 2.070.208 (KM2). The home land of delicious coffee, wonderful flowers: Esmeralds, amazing people, and lets not forget gorgeous women. DANM!!. Its impossible to describe what an amazing Country Colombia is, words aren't enough to emphasize what a wonderful country it is or to explain-its just a feeling in your mind, body and soul.

All right, people. I'm the Latin America reporter( journalist) for V.I.P entertainment social commentators', I will be writing about places in this continent; especially about Colombia- where I reside. Last Saturday was Halloween.....

For those of you, that don't know, Halloween is from Hallowe'en this is a contraction of " All Hallow's Eve". Its a day before the Catholic holiday " All Saints " holy day. ( All Saints) was once called: " All Hallows" - short for " All Hallowed souls. ( Hallowed meaning: Holy).
This holiday " All Saints" was made by Christian Missionaries and " Samhain" a pagan holiday, fall on the same day as the Christian holiday. A lot of holidays that were considered "Pagan", have now been converted into Christian Holidays. ( http://simple.wikipedia.org/Halloween, Nov 06,2009).

O.k enough of history!!!....
Now to the real scoop. So you guys think that Halloween is just a party in North America?, Nooo! Colombia knows how to party too.. Now check it.....

Friday, was the beginning of a C-R-A-Z-Y weekend . Calle 13 (urban artist) and " Su Fiesta de Locos", opened the anticipated Halloween week-end in Bogota- the capital of Colombia. Another ( urban artist) that played at the concert was Bomba Stereo, tickets were between $ 35 to $ 50 dollars. People were going crazy at the concert, Calle 13 doing its thing, god it was sick Friday was just a warm up, to get the people bumped up for Saturday.

Saturday... Halloween vibe was all over town, every body dressed up in different costumes, different clubs venues holding HALLOWEEN PARTIES. Music was blasting, DJ's going crazy playing: reggeaton, electronic, salsa, and top 40. Colombia was that place to been seen partying it up.

Next, Halloween Colombian people will be waiting for you, with open arms... To get crazy and party with.. Till next time...
